Austbrokers acquires Carlton player and corporate network rights

Risk management firm Austbrokers has joined Australian Football League (AFL) club Carlton as a Gold Partner and become a co-major sponsor of the Carlton IN Business (CIB) corporate network.

Carlton’s Gold Partner offering requires a small investment of about AUD$3,240 ($2,204/€2,000) per year for association with a marquee player. It also buys a limited number of tickets to club events and player-related merchandise.

The deal with the CIB is more significant and will see Austbrokers co-sponsor the property alongside Virgin Australia for the next two years. CIB is the largest corporate network in Australian sport with 136 members nationally.

Michael Emmett, chief executive officer of Austbrokers, said the partnership presented a wonderful opportunity to support the AFL community “while presenting Austbrokers with national branding, promotional opportunities and associations in new business segments.”

Austbrokers is an equity-based, risk-management provider in Australasia and ASX top 300 listed company that has provided insurance in Australia since
