WTA suspends tournaments in China over Peng Shuai affair

The Women's Tennis Association has suspended its tournaments in China, citing concerns about the welfare of Peng Shuai. The women's tour player has been at the centre of a global scandal after last month an allegation of sexual assault against a former senior Chinese politician was published on her Weibo account.
