World Rugby acquires RugbyPass as part of rights deal with Sky New Zealand

World Rugby has acquired the RugbyPass digital media platform as part of a seven-year media rights deal with pay-television broadcaster Sky New Zealand.

Sky has acquired exclusive rights for World Rugby competitions from 2023 to 2029. The deal covers the men’s and women’s Rugby World Cups, the World Rugby Sevens Series and the new WXV women’s 15s competition.
