WNBA boasts of business success for 2022 regular season

The Women's National Basketball Association has recorded a 16 per cent domestic viewership increase this year across its national television partners from 2021, highlighting a multitude of successful business figures for the league's 2022 regular season.

The viewership increase across ABC, CBS, ESPN, and ESPN2 makes the 2022 regular season the WNBA's most-watched season in 14 years. Along with the viewership uptick, social media video views saw a 36 per cent increase from 2021, the WNBA League Pass out-of-market service boosted subscriptions by 10 percent, and merchandise sales had a 50 percent increase.
