PGA Tour makes international statement with ‘multi-year’ Sky Deutschland renewal

Pay-television broadcaster Sky has extended its PGA Tour broadcast rights in German-speaking countries as the established property continues to fight off competition from the lucrative LIV Golf series.

Sky today (Thursday) announced a ‘multi-year’ renewal with media group Warner Bros. Discovery and the PGA Tour. The announcement coincides with the first day of the US Open, the major tournament also broadcast by Sky, and comes after a slew of PGA Tour stars have left for the Saudi-backed tour.
