The International Olympic Committee has said Beijing is "very much on track" in terms of its preparations to host next year's Winter Olympics, following the latest report from the local organising committee.
Speaking to journalists after this week's IOC executive board meeting, Beijing 2022 Coordination Commission chair Juan Antonio Samaranch expressed confidence that the Omicron variant of Covid would not derail the event.
