UCI outlines financial cost of a cancelled Olympics, insurance details

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), cycling’s world governing body, has outlined the financial cost it would suffer if the rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympics are cancelled, while also revealing the lack of an insurance pay-out from the International Olympic Committee in a postponement scenario.

The figures were revealed as the UCI detailed its 2021 budget at its Congress held yesterday (Thursday).
