Sony secures 2022 Commonwealth Games rights across Indian subcontinent

Pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks India has acquired exclusive television and digital rights in India and across the Indian subcontinent to the forthcoming 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The deal provides SPN with exclusive rights to broadcast the Games, which take place in the English city of Birmingham from July 28 to August 8, in India and the subcontinent, including countries such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan and the Maldives.
