Seifert: Discovery money being paid after ‘comprehensive’ legal victory

Christian Seifert, the chief executive of the German Football League, has said that broadcast rights fee money from Discovery is being paid after a “comprehensive” victory against the international media group over its Bundesliga contract.

The sports arbitration court of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) ruled in favour of the DFL in August after Discovery bid to terminate its rights contract, and Seifert insisted the payments are now being honoured.
