RMC Sport, the French subscription broadcaster owned by telco Altice, has signed a new rights deal for mixed martial arts’ Ultimate Fighting Championship in the wake of the lifting of the MMA broadcast ban in France.

The agreement takes effect tonight with the RMC Sport 2 channel to broadcast the fight between Michael Chiesa and Neil Magny from UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. The coverage will start at 8.30pm (CET) and will be followed by a repeat of preliminary bouts, including the debut of France’s Manon Fiorot against Victoria Leonardo.
