The Lagardère Sports agency has signed a five-year partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) through which it will seek to enhance the organisation’s digital output, amongst other remits.
Working with digital development specialists Other Media, Lagardère Sports will create and manage an immersive and interactive mobile app for darts fans across the globe. The agreement also sees Lagardère Sports appointed as the exclusive digital sales and activation agency for the PDC.
Fully optimised for iOS and Android, the official app will seek to drive engagement, helping the PDC further connect with both existing and new fans whilst also building its digital presence. The app will also include a range of innovative features, as well as essentials such as fixtures, results and player profiles. With instant news updates, live commentary and push notifications, fans will also be able to follow the latest action whilst on the go.

Lagardère Sports has also built, managed and commercialised the official club apps for 12 football teams including the German Bundesliga’s Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg SV and Hertha Berlin.
