MLB issues stiff sanctions in Cardinals-Astros hacking case

Major League Baseball (MLB) has stripped the St. Louis Cardinals of their top two picks in this year’s amateur draft and fined the franchise $2m (€1.86m) in the culmination of an unusual case involving the hacking of rival team the Houston Astros’ email system and scouting database.
