The University of Alabama's athletics department has extended its multimedia rights deal with Learfield in a 15-year agreement, marking one of the longest deals of its kind in American collegiate athletics.
Through this extended deal, Learfield will provide Alabama with new strategic original content in collaboration with Learfield Studios and access to data and analytics through Learfield’s Fanbase infrastructure to build profiles of the university's fans. Media rights between Learfield and Alabama date back to 1998
