Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) club Yomiuri Giants has entered into a long-term global deal with US sportswear and equipment manufacturer Nike and sports merchandising company Fanatics that will see it become the first non-US team in global sport to adopt a model popularised with US major leagues and universities.
