Canadian baseball club the Toronto Blue Jays has extended its agreement with TD Bank to include the naming rights to its spring training venue in Dunedin, Florida.
The venue is currently undergoing renovation with the installation of additional seating options and greater amenities.
It will be known as TD Ballpark when it reopens February 24, 2020 for the Blue Jays’ spring training home opener against the Atlanta Braves.
It is also the home of the organisation’s minor league baseball team, the Dunedin Blue Jays.
TD has been the Official Bank of the MLB club since 2006 and signed a five-year extension to this deal in March 2019.
The addition of the naming rights to the club’s spring training home aligns with the brand’s regional interests, with it having recently expanded across the Central Florida area.
The Blue Jays’ main stadium is known as the Rogers Centre, carrying the name of telecommunications company Rodgers Communications, the team’s owner.
