AFL aiming for 100,000 fans at Grand Final game

The Australian Football League has announced that its 2021 Grand Final will return to the conventional afternoon kick-off at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with the League aiming for 100,000 fans at the game.

AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan said the AFL Commission had made the decision to return to the afternoon time slot after seeking the views of players, clubs and supporters, along with commercial and broadcast partners.
