AFL Grand Final switched from MCG to 60,000-capacity Optus Stadium

The Australian Football League has announced that its 2021 Grand Final has been moved from the Melbourne Cricket Ground to the Optus Stadium in Perth due to the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown in Victoria.

It is the second year in a row that the traditional MCG venue has been unable to host the final, which will kick off on September 25.
