MLB takes regular season games back to Mexico

Major League Baseball (MLB) has revealed plans to return regular season action to Mexico for the first time since 1999, with the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres set to face off in a three-game series in Monterrey next year.

National League champion the Dodgers and NL West Division rival the Padres will meet at the Estadio de Béisbol from May 4-6. The games, which will serve as Padres home games, will represent the third regular season series ever to be played in Monterrey, and the first since the Padres and the Colorado Rockies played in MLB's first-ever international Opening Day on April 4, 1999.
