Viacom18 teams up with Snap on World Cup content

Indian media group Viacom18 has moved to further exploit its rights to the 2022 Fifa World Cup by agreeing a content deal with Snap Inc, the parent company of social media platform Snapchat.

Viacom18 Sports will offer users a voice-activated augmented reality (AR) lens and content around the ongoing national team football tournament in Qatar on Snapchat’s Discover platform.
