Terms agreed for City Football Group’s entrance into Brazilian market

City Football Group (CFG), the parent company of English Premier League club Manchester City, has agreed terms on a takeover deal that would make Campeonato Brasileiro Série B team Bahia the first Brazilian club in its global portfolio.

CFG has submitted a bid to acquire a 90 per cent stake in Bahia, under a deal that would see a 10-per-cent holding remain with the club’s membership.
