Tennis Australia scraps luxury hotel quarantine contract after legal threat

An agreement to quarantine international tennis players at The Westin Melbourne has been cancelled after the owners of private properties in the complex threatened legal action due to raised concerns about a possible Covid-19 outbreak.

Local agencies reported the owners of 36 penthouse apartments in The Westin Melbourne said they were not consulted about the plan and a number of elderly residents expressed concerns about potential health risks.
