South Africa to stage Lions tour after contingency plans rejected

The British & Irish Lions’ tour of South Africa will go ahead as scheduled this summer after an agreement was reached with the South African Rugby Union.

The Lions’ tour will take place from July 3 to August 7, with Test matches scheduled against the South African national team on July 24, July 31 and August 7.
