Austrian commercial broadcaster ServusTV has agreed a three-year extension to its rights deal with Formula 1 which will see the Red Bull Media-owned company continue to show the motor-racing championship live and free to view in the country until 2026.
ServusTV will hold the rights across all of its distribution channels. The broadcaster’s current rights deal, running from 2021 to 2023, includes a sublicensing agreement granting half of the races to the country’s public-service broadcaster ORF.
