San Francisco Giants to bring back start times to help families

The San Francisco Giants will bring back the start times of evening games on Mondays until Thursdays by half an hour to 6.45pm from next season to “better serve fans and families during the work week”.

Attendances at AT&T Park in 2018 dwindled after the All-Star break as the team suffered a losing season, with the MLB franchise gaining 38,965 fans on average per game compared to 40,786 last year.

Other changes for season-ticket holders for next year, as announced by Giants chief executive Larry Baer, include a ticket-exchange programme and a 20-per-cent discount on food and beverage concessions.
