Russia, Belarus to compete at Paralympics as neutral athletes

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has today (Wednesday) ruled that Russian and Belarusian athletes will be able to participate in the winter Paralympics in Beijing, albeit as neutral competitors.

All Russian and Belarusian athletes will compete under the Paralympic flag and the Paralympic anthem and will not be included in the medals table for the Games, which take place from March 4 to 13.
