PGA Catalunya club in talks to stage Ryder Cup in 2031

The PGA Catalunya golf club in Girona, Spain, is in talks to stage the 2031 Ryder Cup, the biennial competition between the United States and Europe.

Barcelona-based newspaper La Vanguardia reports that Ryder Cup director Guy Kinnings is due to meet with local officials in the next few days to discuss a formal application.
