NWHL appoints Michelle Picard as deputy commissioner

The National Women's Hockey League has appointed Michelle Picard as its deputy commissioner and director of player development.

Picard was a longtime member of the United States national team, served as captain at Harvard University, and was a leading defender on the 2018 Isobel Cup-winning Metropolitan Riveters.
