The MSM agency has secured the global commercial rights to the RNF MotoGP Racing team, its first client in the motorcycling series.
RNF Racing, formerly known as the Petronas Sepang Racing Team, is a satellite team for Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia which has been racing in the FIM MotoGP World Championship since 2019.
Now in its fifth year in the championship, its rider line-up includes Portuguese star Miguel Oliveira and 2021 Moto2 Vice World Champion, Raul Fernandez.
The outfit is one of only six Independent MotoGP teams among a predominantly European sport and prides itself on its commitment to nurturing up-and-coming riders. It has previously been home to top riders such as MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizoso and Fabio Quartararo.
The MSM agency was founded by the former global head of sponsorship for the Williams Racing Formula 1 team, Justin Mountstephens, in 2020. The agency advises global corporations on their sport and entertainment strategies and helps them identify and acquire new partners in sport.
Mountstephens launched the business having spent five years with Williams Racing where he was responsible for global sponsorship sales. During his tenure with the Oxfordshire team, he led RokiT’s transition into the sport and secured significant partnerships from global brands headquartered in the US, Asia and Europe.
