Sepang Racing Team shutting down, new MotoGP team on horizon

Malaysian MotoGP team Petronas Sepang Racing Team (SRT) is shutting down at the end of the 2021 season.

The team's leaders, Team Principal Razlan Razali and Team Director Johan Stigefelt, are to join a 'new entity' in MotoGP from 2022 onwards, a post on SRT's website said. The new entity and title partner will be announced at the San Marino MotoGP on September 16.
