International netball body CEO resigns

International Netball Federation (INF) CEO Urvasi Naidoo has resigned after spending five years in the role.

INF president Molly Rhone made the announcement yesterday, stating that Naidoo will be leaving at the end of the month in order to pursue a career more local to her family.

Netball’s governing body will be advertising for a new CEO in the forthcoming months but, in the interim, Clare Briegal will oversee the role. Briegal previously filled in as chief executive whilst Naidoo was on maternity leave last year, and will start on October 1.

Rhone said: “I’d like to take this opportunity on behalf of the INF to thank Urvasi for all her hard work and commitment to our sport over the past five years and to wish her all the very best in her new career.”
