Free-to-air final talks break down between Premiership Rugby and BBC

This Saturday’s Premiership Rugby final will be shown domestically only on pay-television broadcaster BT Sport after talks broke down between the rights-holder and UK public-service broadcaster the BBC.

Premiership Rugby chief executive Darren Childs had offered BBC executives live rights to the final, only for the offer to be withdrawn, according to The Guardian.
