Electric car-racing series Formula E is looking for opportunities to scale quicker, adding more races that deliver increased media content, although it doesn’t intend to prioritise the monetisation of its media rights in the short term, according to chief executive Jamie Reigle.

Heading into its eighth season at the start of next year, Formula E is looking to add more dates to the calendar in future seasons to tie in with the birth of the ‘Gen3’ era in 2022-23 that will bring with it lighter, quicker and faster charging cars.
