Fifa launches bidding process for 2027 Women’s World Cup

Fifa, football’s global governing body, has launched the bidding process for the 2027 Women’s World Cup with the host, or hosts, set to be announced in May 2024.

Fifa said the bidding process represents the “most robust and comprehensive” in the history of the tournament. Member associations have been given until April 21 to express their interest in bidding.
