Lega Serie A has launched its first request for proposal (RFP) for its forthcoming international rights sales cycle by going to market in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The RFP from 2024-25 onwards was issued today (Friday) in the DACH region, SportBusiness understands.
The market-by-market approach adopted by Lega Serie A replaces the hitherto strategy of issuing an invitation to tender (ITT) covering all or most international markets and striking a minimum guarantee deal with an agency.
