ESPN and Formula 1 have confirmed a three-year rights extension in the United States through 2025, in a deal which will keep all race telecasts on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 commercial-free.
The move – which was announced at the 2022 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas – was agreed to in principle during the summer, with Formula 1 securing a significant rights fee increase in the highly-prized US market.
