The executive committee of the German Football League (DFL) has decided to introduce a new revenue distribution model for its domestic broadcast rights that it feels will offer stability in view of challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Details of the new model – to be implemented between 2021-22 and 2024-25 in the top-tier Bundesliga and second-tier 2. Bundesliga – were presented by DFL chief executive Christian Seifert this afternoon.
