Coca-Cola pays $5.6bn for full control of BodyArmor

The Coca-Cola Co. has acquired full control of BodyArmor for $5.6bn (€4.8bn) in a deal which values the sports drink brand at approximately $8bn.

The move, which was first mooted in February and further reported on last week, comes after Coca-Cola invested $300m in BodyArmor in August 2018, which valued the company then at $2bn.
