The National Hockey League has ended its search for a new sports drink sponsor in the wake of BioSteel's bankruptcy by signing a long-term agreement with BodyArmor

BodyArmor has been named the official sports drink partner of the inaugural Leagues Cup tournament

BodyArmor has successfully grown its share of the crowded US sports drink market thanks in large part to its expansive partnership with MLS and 22 of its teams. Bob Williams reports.

The Coca-Cola Co. has acquired full control of BodyArmor for $5.6bn (€4.8bn) in a deal which values the sports drink brand at approximately $8bn.
