CAS hearing begins into challenge to Eliasch’s FIS presidency

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) inquiry into the controversial re-election of Johan Eliasch as president of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) is expected to roll into 2023 following an initial hearing yesterday (Monday).

The CAS has heard the complaints of the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV), and its fellow national governing bodies from Croatia, Germany and Switzerland, after they announced in June that they would protest the election.
