The Badminton World Federation has rescheduled next year’s Badminton World Championships to make way for the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The badminton event was originally slated to take place in Huelva, Spain in August 2021, but the decision to move the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games to the months of July, August and September next year has forced it to change its plans.
