Blatter and Platini charged with fraud over CHF2m payment

Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini, the former presidents of Fifa and Uefa, respectively, have been charged with fraud and other offences by Swiss prosecutors in a long-running case.

The Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) announced today (Tuesday) that it has filed an indictment against the duo, who now face trial at the Federal Criminal Court in Bellinzona, Switzerland.
