The Women’s Tennis Association has announced the schedule for the first seven weeks of its 2021 season that will see it pass through the United Arab Emirates before heading to Australia to prepare for the first Grand Slam of the year.

However, tournaments in Auckland and Shenzhen that took place around the same time in 2020 have been scrapped until 2022 because of Covid-19 restrictions in these regions.
