World Bowling bucks trend with IBF rebrand, sharpens Olympic focus

World Bowling, the global body for nine-pin, ten-pin and para bowling, has been renamed the International Bowling Federation.

The name change was decided upon at World Bowling’s extraordinary congress in Lausanne yesterday (Monday). The Swiss city will remain the headquarters of the international federation.
