The World Athletics Relays will return to its birthplace in 2024, with the sport’s world governing body awarding hosting rights for the event to Nassau in the Bahamas.

The first three editions of the competition were held in the capital of the Bahamas in 2014, 2015 and 2017, respectively. Following subsequent events in Yokohama, Japan (2019), and Chorzów, Poland (2021), the World Athletics Relays will head back to Nassau in April/May 2024.
