UCI chief hopeful of ASO peace deal

Brian Cookson, the president of the International Cycling Union (UCI), has insisted that the governing body’s dispute with promoter Amaury Sports Organisation (ASO) can be resolved through talks and is hopeful that an accord can be struck by spring 2016, according to the UK’s Guardian newspaper.
