Tokyo 2020 broadcasting leads IPC revenues and expenses to both hit €53m

The International Paralympic Committee has reported revenues of €53.4m for 2021, a sizeable uplift on 2020 due to the one-off ‘Tokyo 2020 Broadcast project’.

The broadcast initiative represented €28.9m – or 54 per cent – of all IPC revenue last year. It accounted for €28.6m – also 54 per cent – of all expenses. The IPC returned a small profit of €12,078 for 2021, slightly down on the previous year’s figure of €15,330.
