UCI World Tour cycling team Tinkoff-Saxo has given its backing to the proposal of owner Oleg Tinkov to establish a lucrative competition between four riders over the sport’s three ‘Grand Tours’, adding that the idea isn’t a “joke or publicity stunt.”
