Sports data and content company Sportradar has agreed an OTT partnership with Max World Sport, the company behind Thailand’s largest Muay Thai promotion, Max Muay Thai, as well as joining forces with USA Sports Gaming to support its new mobile sportsbook in the state of Indiana.
The multi-year deal with Max Muay Thai will involve Sportradar OTT providing the live and on-demand platform for broadcast of the promotion’s fights seven days a week.
Multi-tier subscription packages will be available on an OTT platform in both Thai and English, and will allow Max Muay Thai fans to access content across various devices at any time.
Sportradar will also act as strategic digital OTT transformation partner, advising Max Muay Thai on its commercial strategy. “This is a definite game-changer for Max Muay Thai,” Arisa Tohcharoensuk, Max Muay Thai president, said.
“Max Muay Thai has established continued growth, not only in our country (Thailand) but globally. With the collaboration with Sportradar I can say that this is the key to our continued success. In partnership with Sportradar we can experience a different viewing experience through OTT platforms.”
Meanwhile, Sportradar will offer its real-time sports data and Managed Trading Services to BetIndiana’s mobile sportsbook, in conjunction with the Amelco platform.
BetIndiana is the first startup in the US market to launch as an operator and one of the first Sportradar clients in the US to use its MTS service. Indiana last month became the seventh US state to debut mobile sports wagering.
Frank Ignatius, president and founder of USA Sports Gaming, said: “Partnering with Sportradar, another business that’s aggressively diving into the US market, was the right fit for us.
“As a startup in a competitive landscape, it’s crucial that we hit the ground running with a hyper focus on growth. Sportradar gives us the opportunity to do that, and we look forward to continuing our journey with them by our side.”
