A new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) has been struck between Rugby Australia, the country’s five Super Rugby clubs and the Rugby Union Players Association (RUPA), with the deal including a range of benefits for women’s players.

The agreement will run from 2023 until the end of 2026, with Rugby Australia stating that the deal marks a “major step forward” after the last agreement, running from 2020 to 2022, was severely impacted by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
