Rome’s Ryder Cup hit by fresh financial blow

Rome’s staging of the 2022 Ryder Cup has been hit by fresh financial concerns after Pietro Grasso, President of the Italian Senate, removed an amendment to a bill that would have provided a guarantee of €97m ($104.2m) for the golf showpiece.
